The Byron Bay Public School Canteen offers a delicious and nutritious menu with something for everyone. We are open 5 days a week and work on a lunch order system, whereby the children and teachers order their lunches in the morning before the bell goes and we prepare them, and then sort them into classes ready to be taken to the classrooms at 11.20am.
We always welcome new helpers in the Canteen. Not only do your children love to see you there, but it is a great place to meet other parents, laugh over a cuppa and gives you the chance, should you so wish, to play in a softball match dressed in an apron and tea towel. There is also a rumour that the CAPE* Gooseberries will be putting on another fine pantomime in Term 2 2008…oooh!
