Parent participation is greatly valued at our school. This can occur in various ways through: P&C Association, Arts Committee, school development days, canteen, fundraising and various classroom activities. Byron Bay Public P & C Association meets at the school on the second Thursday of each month. The role of the P & C is to work with school staff and community to assist our children and enable our school to achieve its full potential as an educational environment for our children. Through our P & C, parents can meet and share ideas, friendships and communication on a school and social level. The P & C assists the school in raising funds for the purchase of teaching and learning resources and capital items. All parents are encouraged to attend to P & C meetings to stay informed, contribute ideas and/or skills to improve our school and to enjoy some good company! P & C Office Bearers are elected at the Annual General Meeting in First Term.
